Damn man, your ride is looking better than ever!! Really digging the new carbon fiber hood with the overlays on it.

Hope you keep this page updated in the future.

Great suggestion. I couldn't decide about color matched eyelids. They are carbon fiber. The grill I also couldn't decide to paint or not. Might give it a try.

Just my 2 cents but, it would look even better if you had color matched headlights. You could take them apart, prep them, and take them to a shop to get painted. You could either paint the side-marker black or wrap them in carbon fiber vinyl.

Here's a link for some OEM sealant if you were ever interested in doing something like that:

http://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=5577

Personally, I think the grille looks good the way it is right now.

definately paint the grille, it looks unfinished, I would suggest matching the black you have on your hood as that's what your hood lines look like they are going for. the eyelids may be carbon fiber but don't match anything else in the theme. I would definately color match them because of the surrounding adjacent areas are the oem color, and they seem out of place.

Off to a clean start though for sure.

Its hard to see because of the light and my car color. But the hood is carbon fiber with a lighter pattern. It changes colors in different light. I'm just glad it doesn't look like a family sedan anymore. And I might paint the grill.

OMG man, your ride looks 10x better. Like how you switched it up and did the 6.5 conversion. Gotta be honest, it's the BEST smoked 6th gen I've ever seen. Congrats man.

That's whats so sick about it. Actually looks better than a 6.5 IMHO. That's the z2k bumper or something that ezkoncept is selling huh? It's nice man. Everything lines up perfectly. Looks like your ride is finally finished man. Unless you something else under your sleeve.

No problem bro, had to give credit where it's due. But yeah man, a cf engine cover would fit the theme perfectly. Post pics whenever you get it installed. This forum has barely any 6th gens in the members ride section.

Factory paint code k11. Infinity 18" G35 coupe rims. Without the drop, they would look smaller.

This thread is old. Those pics were taken with a very old hp 2.5mp camera. Some with my phone. Since then I got a 12mp Canon Power shot. Traded that for a 16mp Sony camera. I really like the Sony. The color is more acurate but the k11 Smoke color does look richer or darker or pale in different light. For example, on the rims the color always looks darker. Maybe because of the shade down there.

Its not a 07 bumper. Its a hybrid bumper. Not interested in a 07-08. Just wanted fogs on the bottom. Next car will be a SUV. This doesn't fit me any more.

Nice color on the wheels. So, your thinking about getting rid of the max man? That'll be a shame but, if you need something that's gonna fit you better now. Than I guess it's the right move.

Ride is definitely one of my favorite 6th gens thus far. Really tastefully modded overall.

Oh sorry, hybrid bumper is a replica of the 07-08 bumper, without any other modification. The oem 07-08 bumper requires an entire front end swap. Headlights and hood and grill. Hybrid fits without swapping headlights and hood or grill. However, the fogs in the bumper can be oem or aftermarket.

I also added stillen side skirts.

Thanks

gotcha thanks for the reply, that's good to know if I ever get a 6th gen and not a 6.5 gen ! my buddy is probably selling his 2005 red, and black leather 6spd that combo seems so rare in it self.

whats the name of the bumper if you dont mind? is its somewhere on the org? haha if not I will hunt it down. Thanks.
