Yes I built them myself. Cost me a pretty penny and about 20 or so hours of labor. Check my Sig, where it says Retrofit Status, itll lead to my build thread.

As for building them for others, im sorry but I just dont have the time. As much as I loved building them, Im working 9-5 this summer and spend any down time hanging with my gf and friends.

Damn, you got a nice azz ride man. Really digging the headlights. It's definitely one of a kind. Never seen another 4th gen like it.

Can't wait to see the other mods you got in store for it.

Thanks man! Id love to put headers and finish the exhaust with a y pipe but I dont have money to blow as I am heading off to college. I would like to install the NWP Intake spacers tho. For 200 bucks and a guaranteed 8hp gain? Id take em.

Digging the look of the car. Nice job on the retro. My only complaint are the blacked out corners. Doesn't flow well with the headlights; a light smoke would probably look so much better.

Looks real good, love the retrofit.

Have a question, why paint the reflector yellow? Just curious

Thanks, I was going to AE the corners but theyre 95 corners, not the clearer 97. So I just blacked them out.

Thanks! I painted the reflectors yellow because I wanted the demon eye look without actually putting an LED inside the projector. So I figured I would paint them and see what happened, and, it worked. They look like demon eyes in the day.

Totally understand where your coming from. Just got out of college myself and have to deal with student loans now LOL

Anyways, the NWP spacers are definitely a nice addition and isn't to bad in terms of cost. But, yeah man everything else on your list can wait. There's always time to finish things later on down the road.

Yea, Im sorta lucky. My dad's paying for my tuition, but I have to cover any expenses during the year. So I'm saving the majority of the money I make this summer.

IDK if its the projectors or the wheels that make the car seem like something is missing. Maybe its the wheels not being black...

I'll be the second, but keep in mind I think all retros are ugly as sin.

Non the less it's obvious you take care of your ride, keep it up.

Now if we can do something about those GLE door handles.....

Agreed. Just relying on the retros for the only source of contrast of the front end is asking way too much of it. Need more balance. But as others said, the whip is obviously definitely well kept!

Yea, i remember your car from our meets. Thing was slammed. I wanted coils, but money didnt allow, and my suspension was gone lol.

Yea, alot of people have said to black out the chrome/remove it. And I wont, i think the chrome adds a nice contrast.

But it looks sick with the angel eyes on. All black with two glowing rings of white/blue lights in the rear view? lol

The retros are sick as is. IMHO unsmoking the corners and blinkers....maybe getting clear ones with LEDs in it would do it justice. The LED's Im running in my corners look to be the same color temp as my HID fogs and heads...looks hella sick with everything uniform...

Ive actually got LED's in there right now. Theyre blueish white. Super bright at night. I had the corners clear before, but the black headlight housings just didnt mix.

yea yours...always loved yours...the retros just look...BORG'ish. i guess thats why i always voted against doing them on mine. if i had a 4th..id do the r34 conversion or w/e it is yall do..and if i messed w/ headlights in my 5th..i'd do the 5.5..but i just cant see a retro in my 5th gen headlights.

i'm not saying this to bash the OP, just speaking on i guess why i like yours

If I had the money lying around I would have done an R34 conversion retro. But I had an extra set of stock head lights lying around so I used those instead. Retros arent cheap haha, I think all in all I spent close to 350 dollars in parts/materials.

R34 headlights cost anywhere from 150-250 with shipping from what Ive seen. Retro's are expensive haha. And I didnt even use HID projectors. I used halogen ones.
