That was suppose to be the case on this car, however.........I have ADS (Audi Drive Select) on this car, which with the push of a button controls the Engine, Shifts, Steering, and Suspension. The option is quite expensive, but is so advanced, that everything works together flawlessly. Well, if I went with coilovers as originally planned, I lose the Suspension function all together, and I like the adjust ability of it on the fly. This was the only springs out there that gave me the drop I wanted and kept my ADS intact. I was hesitant on the ride, not knowing what my end result will be. After riding around with them on, it was actually much better than I thought. Not harsh at all, but stiff enough to be as sporty as coilovers. I also still get to keep my, "Comfort", "Auto", "Individual", and "Dynamic" ADS modes working properly. All in all I'm very happy with these springs, H&R did a good job with them. On anything else or if I didn't have ADS, it would have been coilovers no questions asked.....
thats whats up dude. i can understand that decision. everything looks fantastic man. maybe ill get to head up there one day and see it. keep up the good work

Im surprised you drove all the way to National Speed with the shops in the Charlotte area, i would have thought you would go to Eurowise.
The closest AWD dyno is in Mooresville. I'd rather go to HIS Motorsports in Hickory since I know those guys well, and they know what they're doing. I know Mike at Eurowise pretty good, but they don't have a dyno.

I was on vacation at the beach and 20 mins away from National Speed with nothing to do is why I went there. Shoulda picked a cooler day. haha

I've pretty much maxed out everything I can on this car aftermarket wise. Thanks goodness, now I can get to actually enjoy it. Nothing compared to the VQ support however. Luckily, I don't plan on going internal with this one.

i see. I love NSi i know the people well but i would keep it more VQ and domestic related with them.

I thought Eurowise or the shop next to them had a dyno, maybe its only a 2wd dyno or a mobile dyno that was there for the day. I went there during a meet and cars were being dyno'd.

Ya, that was when Bobby and Ben (CIN Motorsports) shared the same building with Eurowise. It was actually their building to begin with, and they let Eurowise move in and assume it. CIN moved off Hwy 16, and I know those guys very well also. They told me I couldn't come back cause I don't have a VQ anymore. lol. They are good guys, but the dyno was theirs and they took it with them. It's a Mustang Dyno with only 1 roller.

Wow awesome progress on this car already! Really liking the mods you have done so far, very tasteful mods thus far. Just curious, what size pulley did you go with?

There's just one option for a smaller pulley and APR is the only company that makes it. There's no details on the actual size of the pulley. Here's their gains from the pulley along with other upgrades being equal.

Thanks guys! I'm thoroughly enjoying the ride as one would. I spent years trying to build my Maxima to where I wanted it to be, and when I finally got there, it was years later and I was itching for something else. I just wanted to get this one to that point sooner than later and just enjoy it. Spinning wrenches is uber fun, but it's a battle that seems to never end and at some point you just wanna stop spinning and just drive......
