You'll love that Thule, and get lots of use out of it. I have a big *** aluminum extension ladder on mine right now. Definitely get the fairing. It cuts down on wind noise dramatically.
Your ride's looking pretty good. I'd love to see some aftermarket rims on it.

Thanks, yea the rack was on my Mom's Mitsubishi Endeavor. We moved from CO to Florida and now Im moving back so I'm taking it. Ill be getting the feet and fairing this week.

Ive always wanted aftermarket rims like some nice XXR's but I needed tires a couple months ago and found these G rims with brand new all weather tires for 400 bucks. Couldnt pass it up.

Thats a sexy i30 by the way.

Maybe you can get new rims later on. Those G wheels will make a good winter set. Cant go wrong with XXR's. A staggered set would be sweet on there.
And as for my i30...it doesn't have the same wheels or tails anymore, and it has the rack. Wont even be green much longer.
Your car makes me mis my first Max. My first love...seven A32's ago. LOL.

Bring a wet suit and some jackets. Been raining here crazy lately. Winters been hit and miss, it can be really cold and snowy, then it can be very nice and warm. You know the drill of the winter here!

Welcome back to Mile High Land!

Get yourself a ski pass ... You'll make your money back after 6 trips

Love the look of the Maxima with the ski rack.

Snow tires are almost a must especially if you'll be driving that car up to the mountains. They don't use salt (awesome), good wipers are an absolute must as well as an extra jug of wiper fluid. Gas up the hill is more expensive than down the hill. They can close the Eisenhower tunnel if they feel like it and loveland pass can be closed just as easily. You can go around back by going on 285.

Welcome

Thanks, the first picture is my profile pic on facebook lol
And yea, roof racks are universal, but you need "fit kits" to mount them. Thule and Yakima both have racks for Maxima's. But they are an investment. Just the base rack can run up to 400 bucks with out attachments

For Thule, the fit kit for my car was like 70 dollars. Maxima's require 50 inch bars, and the feet I used are the 480 Traverse feet.

You mean all cars. Automatic is depressing after driving a manual

Yea, its nice having a car in college. It allows me to keep up my snowboarding hobby/passion/obsession.

It also is my first year in college. I'm a freshman lol.

As for the mods... My junior and senior year of high school I had a job as the IT Manager for a private investment firm. I raked in a decent amount of money, so I payed for all my gas/still do, payed for my mods, new snowboard gear, and then the rest is my spending money for this year and next year in college.

I think the halo's clash with the projectors, along with the N1 style muffler not flowing with the rest of the car .

Although, the car is very clean. It certainly looks like you have kept up with maintenance and paint. Maintenance before mods!

Yea, I dont like the N1 muffler from the side b/c you can see the canister. I always think that I should have gone with a more OEM looking muffler, but oh well. It sounds nice lol

i've noticed that any muffler sounds good on our cars, but i personally think that the muffler would look better on the car if it was actually tilted more.

Some one had an angled muffler... I think his name was like Kareem or something.

He was blown and had a 3in custom exhaust that ran under his rear axle. It looked sexy.
