Talking Russki 5.5

Hey guys! Got my 2003 3.5 6-speed this May. It was kind of an impulsive purchase after my previous car was totaled (sort of), but wow I am very impressed with the car so far, although it is not as "heavily modified" as some of you guys, practically stock

Mod list:
- GAB
- VIAS BOP
- blacked-out sidemarkers
- tinted tails
- baked and painted headlights with yellow lense changed to clear
- yellow vinyl for fog-lights
- high-beam, DRL and blinkers in the headlights changed to bright white LEDs (bright white bulb for high-beam)
- tint (15% front, 5% rest)
- D2 coilovers (3' drop front, 2' drop rear, hardest setting all around)
- front strut-bar

Future:
- debadge
- spacers
- rims - next summer (yes yes I know, although the stock ones are not bad at all, IMO)
- chrome door handles (possibly, still deciding on it)
- MAYBE spoiler removal (opinions?)

Below are some pics that I snapped on Simcoe Lake this past weekend. What a beautiful weather that was and the lake was amaaaaazing!

And if anyone is wondering, here is what I have been driving for the past 6 (!!!) years. It was a great fun little car!

The mod list on THAT car is very extensive, and I am very satisfied on how long it actually lasted (260,000km). Flame away!

Wow great progress so far, the max is well on its way to being a beast! Looks like it needs a good wash and wax.
Can I ask what you used to tint the tail lights?

Sorry bud, but the tiburon is a little Glad you made the change lol

lol Tiburon might be a little on a "chick car" side, but the amount of looks/compliments I got with it made me think/feel otherwise To each his own I guess, my Maxima never got complimented yet Except for "OOOOH THATS LOOOOOW" lol

The tails are tinted with vinyl, did that at the local shop. I do not want to do any non-reversible mods on the car so far, that's why I went with vinyl. And, although I worked with vinyl before, I suggest you give it to a professional, there are too many curves on the tails to do it right from the first time, IMO

Yep! It's not that bumpy at all actually. The roads are not that bad in my area, mostly highway driven and ramps taken advantage of )) I like it. Comfortable yet sturdy enough to make a quick turn.

I know what you mean and I was expecting that. I did want to soften the setting a bit, but after I went for a test drive I realized that the "bumpiness" is very close to stock and is actually quite comfy. Then again, my tires are the softest ones Ive ever owned.

Sometimes they have some rare emblems on ebay. If you look long enough than you might see an emblem you might want. :

Is that a Tiburon? A coworker owned one. Fun little cars. I bet it was quite the fun with that mod list you speak of
