My Stock '96 Maxima SE

As some of you may remember, I bought this Max in November of '08. It's still going as strong as ever. In fact, it's in better shape now than when I bought it. I'm driving my first autocross tomorrow so today I cleaned it up very nicely. Wash, wax, tire spray, back to black on the exterior rubber. The Deep Evergreen looks incredible. Thought I'd share some pics here

...And of course I'll be posting autocross pics here as well

Probably not - autocross isn't a regular thing for me, and surely not with my daily driver. I'll probably take it easy tomorrow to see how it goes.

I'll probably be selling the car next year once I'm out of college with a job. I'm looking at a WRX, S2000, MR2 or G35 for my next ride.

Ah, DP0. It reminds me of when I first got mine. Very clean. I too love that color.

Some pics:

Considering it was my first Auto-X, I guess I didn't do too badly. Didn't hit a single cone. I beat an '09 Civic Si by a second and was two seconds behind a Mini Cooper S on our fastest runs.

My car didn't seem to suffer any issues from the 5 runs I made, although I'm going to need new tires if I do this often

I might as well post the horrifying video of my last "fun run" lap... With my brother in the back seat I had a few moments of mild oversteer.
