Whats up

Whats going on guys, I've had my Max for about a month now, been going to school and work so I don't have as much time as I would like to enjoy the car, but I have been able to take it out for a drive now and then.
Anyway, just wanna say hey as I don't really know that many people here.

I got an 01 AE with almost 39k on the clock, put about 1k miles on it already (school is 70 miles round trip )
Wheels are no longer black as the stupid plasti-dip started to peel the day after I did it so I had the pleasure of wasting my time on that.
Other than that, theres a key mark all the way around it from when the original owner had it, you can't see it in the pictures and its only really visible from close up. Shes pretty much flawless other than that. I just did a tune-up and an oil change, only thing left is to change the stupid O2 sensor, so once I do that she'll probably be good for a while (I hope).

I like it. It needs a drop really bad though.

Is that a NY or NJ plate?

It's a good thing that stupid plasti dip peeled off. It kills the naturally clean look your AE has. Keep the wheels the stock color and give it a good drop and it will look awesome.

Its NY, and apparently it was dropped by the original owner, and returned to stock height by the guy i bought it from
I plan on dropping it, not too too much, the potholes will kill me if its too low
I'm also not sure if i should make the rear side marker clear, any opinions?

Yea, it does need a good washing, whenever I wash it it always seems to rain that same day, its terrible, I also haven't gotten a chance to wax it myself, I rarely have time with school and work

I'm from NY too. It sucks that the previous owner put the stock suspension back on but I would've done the same lol

I'd do the rear side markers clear with red LED bulbs.

It does suck, but now at least I have something else to do to it

To be honest I didn't think of clear markers with red LEDs, thats a pretty good idea, thanks lol
