Changing it up for 2012

Green for the money, gold for the honeys.

This is what DP0 looks like out in the sun.

Nevermind the wheel gap. After having to do a motor swap and buying another car there wasnt any money left for the coilovers.

And I painted the wheels with a copper and gold burlwood texture. Matches my gauge cluster that I gold leafed pretty good.

Thanks. Factory color. The rack is functional. Not for bikes, but for ladders and other ****. I work out of the car and sometimes I would pull a trailer with it. (Until my trailer got stolen from my driveway)
I love that 3.5 i30 also. If I knew what wheels those were Id grab them as an extra set. Only thing close I could find were off of a Grand Marquis GS.

Sig pic is from 3 years ago. Looked good then when I was trying to get away from the chrome trim, but Ive learned to embrace it.

Its very flashy. Theres not many cars that stand out in Dallas. Most everyone is in the same cookie cutter mold...Slammed with wide wheels. I wanted to stand out.

Its coming. Like I said, my C/O money got used up when the motor, clutch, then tranny went out, plus buying another i30t this past summer.

Good thinking. I've also decided on the same sometime in the future. That color will look even more stunning when absolutely fresh. Keep up the good work, J-rock.

Thanks. The color held up longer than the leather did. It got worn and started tearing too bad. The dash and console still look great, including the armrest which gets a lot of use.

So Ive been slowly converting the interior over to black/green. Ive got the leather seats, carpet, floor mats, weather stripping and door panels swapped out for black already. Still need to do pillars, visors, headliner and seat belts.

No offence but it looks tacky, kinda how people like to wear a log of gold jewelry. Props for thinking outside the box tho..

I appreciate your opinion. Youre the first to outright have something negative to say. Cant please everyone. I know you can understand with your almond paint (which I love).

Got any updates on your car? A few of us were at a local meet last week and saw an S13 roll in that was the same color and it got us talking about yours.

MSR 045's with 225/40. Cant remember the offset of the wheels. Close to stock though.

Not sure what car the sideskirts were made for. A friend of mine got them from a shop that had closed down and asked if I wanted them. I put them up to the car and they were an almost perfect fit. I got a second set too that were about 4 inches too long, so I shortened them and gave them to Carlos on here.

Do you know the width? I like that slight bit of stretch on the tires.

Sorry...theyre 18x8. I wanted a very slight stretch (if you can even call it that) this time so I went with the 225/40. The tires in my sig pic are 235/40.

lol, thank you for not taking in the wrong way, as for my POS. there is nothing new but this year i'm getting it ready for maxus. add a couple of cosmetic goodies to it . the only thing i'll throw out there is that i'm purposely going for that poser fanboy drifter look lol...

keep on trucking, and do what you do..

I'm loving the look. The only thing that slightly throws it off is the tires size w/ the gap, but not even that is enough to make me love it any less. That's a pimpin' green right there.

Thanks. The gap will be gone soon. I got the tires a year ago when it was sitting lower. I figured since theyve still got close to 90% tread left I'll run them.
