I know right! I've been waiting for the sun and a day off to line-up for once!

****update 1/19/14 Lowered the rear. Thinking about getting a full lip kit and getting it matched. The wheels also need to be restored and I may get them painted a dark gunmetal.

Thanks! Honestly when I bought it 4 years ago I didn't like the color either but it has definitely grown on me

Thanks man! Its not to bad in Washington. It was great in the snow since I wasn't low enough to be a snow plow and it usually doesn't snow enough for me to become one haha.

that's a great location, actually, now that I think about it...basically it's the "ebey island" exit if I remember, yes?

Yeah perfect for pics! There's barely any cars that go through there and there is a shoulder on each side for parking. Yeah I think you are right my friend was the one giving directions I forget the specific exit name

if it's the one I'm thinking of, it's the only damned exit on the actual trestle

The Year in Verdict

Here is a quick summary for those of you who are thinking about coils and/or spacers. I've had BC coils on my car now for close to a year come July. I love their adjustabilty both for the springs and the height. They are very easy to use and install and the ride is great even on the stiffest setting (current setting). I've raised and lowered these things probably 10 (not even exaggerating) times at least over the last couple months. Now for some issues: I have blown 1 axle so far, literally burned rubber off the rear passenger side tire (had 4 people in the car going up a steep hill), found out halfway through my camber was way off due to the camber plates being installed incorrectly on the coils (first owner before Craig's fault) and finally noticed some camber wear on all tires. All of it has been a learning experience and at the moment I have no rubbing issues unless I take a pothole too fast. Oddly enough I can still take speed bumps head on with only minor adjusting if needed.

I've had H&R spacers (10mm front, 20mm back) for about 4 months now I think. The spacers made the wheels look great and made them pretty flush with the fender. I did a lot of decision making and math but believe I pulled away with a win. Differences with spacers I noticed is that the steering feels much tighter when turning and there is a vibration when accelerating fast up to 25mph then it leaves (I do have hub centric). So far I have had to replace the passenger side wheel hub because one of the new studs smoothed out all the grooves and came out. So I was driving with 4 studs for about 2 weeks while I waited for the new studs. However H&R was very helpful but a little pricey. $60 just for 10 studs. (2 spacers and 10 studs are like $100 ...c'mon H&R)

Anyways thought I would let you guys know if anyone is looking to lower or get spacers. Love the look, love the feel and no complaints from me. My car has become my ultimate money pit haha. Pics below to reference how low I am and how close the tires are to the fender.
