1998 Maxima, with some mods

I have not posted any pictures on my car in a few years so I thought I would take a few after I washed it over the weekend. Most people who have been here for a while are familiar with my car but I just thought I would post a few updated pics. It is not currently supercharged but hopefully that will change by the end of the year.

Thanks. A guy on the forums actually designed that for me, I don't remember his name but it was a post in the public forums. He made me a .jpg file that I could send to a company in cali. to make the emblem for me.

typically i am an advocate for "NEEDS MOARRR BLUUUU" but id have to say that is PERFECTO! A blue top under the hood and greddy spectrum elite at the back and youd get a perfect+1

Oh, and didnt you have different rims a while back? i dont remember them being so small?

Yep. If you see my sig I had enkei rpo2's (they are currenly for sale if you would like to own them). I liked those wheels, but I wanted something smaller for performance reasons. The current wheels are Kosei K-1's 16x8.5 +37 and I am running a spacer with extended studs in the back as well. I also had wilwood brakes on the car but I took those off in order to be able to fit a 16" wheel on the car. I run the car at the track a time or two every year and I was tired of not running on slicks....now I have slicks I just have not made it back to the track.

Same old paint When I put the stillen kit on the car in 09', the kit was painted along with the front bumper, but the rest of the car was painted in 04'. I am looking forward to putting the blower back on too....traction will be funny My goals with my current set up are 280hp and 12.xx in the 1/4 mile. Honestly the car feels just as fast now as it did the the blower. Once the blower is on my goals are 400+ and trap at least 120mph and be some where in the 11's....time will tell, I am kinda busy around the house right now

Haha, thats quite alright! I cant pull off the white nor could i part with my G19's. I do want a set of sedan 18's so I can run slicks or at least cheaper sticker tires for track n stuff.

N why did you drop so low on wheel size! I mean you coulda grabbed some z32 wheels and called it a day just about!

Have you thought about a blue top? N do you know what the Greddy Spectrum Elite looks like They would look perfect on your car! Oh, and where did you get those rad brackets, and what kind of rubber is underneath them, if any?

I have a pair of z32 wheels if you want to buy them They are 16's and so are my current wheels so I don't quite understand what you are saying. Are you saying you are going to buy an 18" slick???? Have you looked into all of the sizes available? Also, I much prefer the look of K1's over a z32 wheel....I don't love that they are white, but that can always be changed....it's more of a performance mod.

As for the blue theme, I don't want to go overboard. I like the color of my car but I don't want everthing on my car to be blue. I also don't know what a Greddy Spectrum Elite looks like...I am guessing you are saying it has some blue on it? I don't think I am going to take off a 3" cattman exhaust to put a blue muffler on the car though

yep, and it will be again. I have had the car for about 10 years now and I like to change things up. I took out the vq30 with the blower and installed this 3.5 that I put together. I already have all of the parts to boost this set up, I just need the time to put everything back on.

Yeah that be me. And I sometimes visit C-ville for some shopping mostly. Otherwise I bought a house in the valley.

But sounds like you got alot on your plate with this car and your 5th gen as well.

Yes thats what I was saying about the z32 vs current wheels. They are very close in specs and probably weight. And yes, your correct, im going for an 18" slick.

As for the blue, i think they would really tie in well with what you have. Nothing overwhelming really, and would look a lot better than the Red Top in there. As for the Greddy, it has a Burnt Titanium dual walled tip. Looks and sounds amazing! Sorry, not trying to spam your thread up or anything but I think it would be awesome!

Gotcha, it's got the "burnt" finish. I hear what you are saying but I am not going to be switching my exhaust any time soon.

As for the z32 wheels. I would say that the tt rears (same specs as my wheels) probably weigh about 10 lbs more per wheel than my current wheels. I don't know the exact weights (*edit, I am googling it) but I have owned both wheels, the z32 is a lot heavier than you think

k1s in my specs are 16.2 lbs each

z32 rears....can't find it right now.

Thanks Nick, I worked with a guy that is a forum member. He is a machinist, he made them and gave me a set.

Thanks. I like them too. It took me about a year to find them. I ended up buying them from a guy in Florida. If you have ever looked for them in our bolt pattern you will know what I am talking about. The 17x7.5's are pretty common, but the 16x8.5's are a pain to find.
