there are small things i like in the maxima more, but i LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE by far this car more than any maxima ive owned or driven in.... the small stuff i dislike with the car is the fact that the hand brake is over by the passenger side... clutch engagement is rediculously high, but other than that n maybe some other really small stupid things, its by far a better built car, way more smooth, luxurious, and i absolutely love the shifter n those 4 piston brembos...

its funny how ppl keep saying its a honda like its a secret lol.. if so acura didnt hide it well lol... its the same as when people buy infiniti's... its a nissan... the speed is still better with a 5.5 (but that was not a factor in decision)...

Its a nice ride, I really like how they look! they ****ed up on the new gen imo. I would have a tough decision between that and a 5.5,... it's more luxurious but it's only cause its an Acura.

yup, i found an auto 09 TL for a lil more but ill never own that car, that **** is fugly to me... i absolutely hate the rear of that car...and the big **** plate grill... looks tacky IMO... this is the only gen acura i like... the feel of the car is sooo much better than my 5.5 though... but the TQ of the 5.5 is def a seller... noticeably different, but the luxury and reliability factor was the biggest sell for me...

that is only because you got the manual and not the automatic. If it was auto, that statement would not be true (if it was 04-06 tl).

No, you just can't drive. I couldn't even give away a Maxima 4AT when I worked in parts.

As for any v6 Honda transmission tho..... Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidddd I wouldn't trust any of em until 08/09 years. I saw multiple request every day for a V6 honda tranny (Ody/Accord/CL/TL/Etc)

Type-S's are mostly hype, buy a Regular one add a-spec kit, and a J-pipe, boom type-s.

You on acurazine yet? I forget I joined there before the .org cause I was soooooo sold on getting a CL until those videos of Maximas walking CL's/TL's started appearing. I bet you were in em too

Im not the only person who went through trans... See thats the thing nissan folks will forever live in denial about those autos... Msg 1sexyleo whos auto ran the 13.6 to see how many trans she went through.. 7 if i remember correct lol... So yea sure, the two autos with some of the faster na times to date is the two sorriest driver?... Oh o.k... U got it buddy lol... Personally i dont care if this care gets "walked" by any maxima cause chances are i wasnt running nor do i care... To me its still a better built car n if i couldve done it again id choose this over a maxima any second of the minute

I see everyone cracking on you. Man some things never change. Anyway, nice ride always liked those TLs. Talking about trans. I know I was on my 2nd when I sold it, car only had 32,000 miles on it. But sorta new the trans wouldnt hold the power, oh well. Good luck with the purchase.

These days, well went out and bought a Cadi. cts-v. And of course did alot of work to it, 656 whp and 641 torque. Thats about 780 hp at the crank. About two months ago went down to Cecil County Dragstrip and went 10.8 at 131 mph, and get this, that was on street tires. I believe it would go very low 10s or high 9s on slicks. It is a blast to drive.

I hated to part with the maxima but it was getting old and not alot of fun, front wheel drive and all.
