Nearly a decade ago, my mom bought me my very first car. A 1997 Nissan Maxima GLE; the poor thing was in a collision previously and had been rebuilt. Luckily, it has been reliable to me the entire time I have owned it. During that time it went through several stages; rice, bling bling chrome, and straight up confusion. Luckily for you and I, I do not have pictures of most of my "modifications." Only my most recent, more tasteful ones, haha!
So the first set of pictures might scare some of you off. But do not fear, it gets a little better!
Here we go!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
When I first got her!:

My very first MOD: Messing with the OE grill and not doing a very good job.

Chrome: I replaced my messed up grill with a chrome one. Then started messing with chrome decals. I used to have it everywhere; the trunk lid, rocker panels, doors, and even the hood. All in a desperate quest to add some bling bling to my car. Around the same time, I did the body colored B-pillar MOD and discovered that one of my doors were painted black, there was no vinyl! So I covered that up with... chrome! This picture was sadly taken after I had taken off those stupid decal strips, I had everywhere.

Clear bumper lights and new wheels!: Although I was hit in the passenger side fender. I managed to pull out most of the dent, but the metal was folded where I was hit and never looked the same again.

All done!:

Okay no more chrome crap, lets do flat black!:

Nah, gloss back bro!:

Here is a shot of just SOME of the LEDs that went in my interior. Not to mention the two awesome LED bulbs that I got from Amerikaner for my license plate lights:

Yellow fogs, does not look too good so I took the film off. Don't ask me where I was, LOL!

Another package:

OH YEAH!:

All Done! Installation was a breeze. However, adjusting them to make everything even was a pain in the BUTT!:

The idea I had in my head, years ago! It took me 7 years to get the money to transform my car, it was a long journey. Too long:

And for the big finale! My car as it sits now.

Whoops I am sorry I forgot to respond!
Mista, I plan to do engine mods way down the line once my look is complete. But only mild ones though, nothing too crazy. I want to keep her as reliable as possible. I wanna keep my 4th gen until it is considered a classic!
And thanks Dave! Simple and clean all the way! I got all the RICE and crap out of my system now haha
