If you happen to need anymore parts for it I have a place to get some, you should check it out. Only if you don't mind ordering parts online.

I did the same. I kept my 98 which had been off the road since 2012. So many parts hoarded and are finally being put to use this year.

What attracts you to 95-96?

My first Max was a 95 and I enjoy the hunt for parts and swapping stuff over. Currently not enjoying the hunt for a wood grain shifter bezel though.

The first Max in our family was a 96 SE.

I can only imagine how hard finding a wood grain 5spd shifter trim will be. It's hard enough finding one in black that's not all busted up. I'll keep an eye out for one.

I might have a shifter trim available soon for ya. Just have to make sure it's an actual 5spd trim first (if that matters). From what I remember it's an auto trim that was converted. Worked fine with a STS.

Picked up a Stillen FSTB recently, changed the plugs, got it aligned and inspected. I can at least drive it now. Next on the agenda is to get tires for my SSRs and possibly install my r34s and maybe d o the 97-99 front end if I can find a white 97-99 grille.

While u have the hood opened, vacuum all those leaves out. They make it look trashy. Otherwise, keep continuing on your progress!

Nice, I remember when a screen like that was big bux and a ton of work. Now double DIN touch screens are the norm. I have a similar HU in my truck but my car is still a 15 year old single DIN. I need something for hands free calls.
The rear speakers are way too much work. Why couldn't Nissan just bolt them in from the bottom!?

Seriously! I bought this head unit in January and the speakers shortly after. This head unit has hands free call capability but I forgot to run the wire for the mic. Maybe some other time. Not looking forward to doing the rear speakers today. Also gotta figure out how and where I want to mount the tweeters back there.

You bought components? I stuck tweeters under the Bose grilles in the corner. Not sure if there's room on non Bose so you may need to mount them exposed.

Yeah I bought components for front and rear. Probably wont do anything in the trunk unless I come across a jl audio stealth box. Doubt that'll happen though. I'll probably end up putting them in the c-pillars since mine are cracked and I'll be replacing them soon.

Man, I've really been slacking. Finding the time to work on this thing with a toddler running around is hard. But I've done a few things recently. Warpspeed y-pipe, 3" High flow cat and full 3" cat back and new optima battery. Also did 97-99 front and rear conversion. Also about to put all the trim panels back in the trunk and move the battery back there. That's it until this 2nd gen vq35 is ready swap in along with a set of Nisformance headers. Just got a few more parts to order for the motor.

Nice! Which 3" HFC and cat-back did you get? What do you think of the quality of the new headers?

I bought one of those prefabbed pipe kits. I'd have to look up the website again. But I got the cat, resonator and muffler from Vivid Racing. Header quality looks to be top notch!

I also forgot that since this thread originally started I also did a mishimoto radiator and red lion riser mounts!

It's a 99 5-speed with intake, exhaust and what looks to be AGX's and maybe some Tein lowering springs. Its got an oil leak on the pass side and it has a bucking problem when accelerating but idles perfectly fine. And it needs a lower rad support as well.

Just picked up this 2004 g35 sedan for a pretty good price. It wasn't running. Got it home and tightened up the battery cables and she fired right up. It needs valve covers and new plugs and she should be running just fine after that. Can't decide if I wanna keep her or sell her for a profit.

Sounds like it could be a nice G, is it stick? Even though it's obviously the superior car, the only reasonable thing you can do here is to sell it and dump all the money into the 4th gen

Oh if it was manual I'd probably lean more towards keeping it. I should make some decent money off of it. The 4th gen will be getting 2nd gen vq35 swapped in the near future. So some of this will fund that.
