'02 Maxima SE, cleaned! 56K forget it.

Tuesday I detailed my mom's '02 Maxima SE. The before pictures don't really show how filthy this car actually was. My mitt was basically black when I got done with it.

Process:

- 2 bucket method, wash with cheap car soap (forgot my Meg's Gold class )
- Meg's Claybar/Lube
- Rewash wash, dryed
- PC w/orange pad, Poorboy's SSR2.5, set to 5
- Jeff's Prime applied w/PC blue pad set to 4
- Jeff's AJ/Gloss applied with microfiber
- Windows cleaned with Eagle One 20/20
- Meguiar's Tire Shine

The bugs were embedded into the front I got as much as I could off, but I will have to go back once I buy a product that can do some damage to those stubborn splats.

For hi-res shots: http://www.4drspeed.com/detailing/

Thanks for looking.

Hey, the car looks great. Have you tried Bug & Tar remover? I've had success with it.

Thanks guys.

I haven't read too much into the Ice product line. I have read a little bit about the Ice Liquid Clay Bar. Interesting product but I just don't think it will get the same results as a true clay bar.

Mom's car did have some aftermarket 17s at one point, 3 of the 4 OEMs were bent. My dad had them fixed and put back on.

Mom will never do any of that type of stuff lol. She already calls my car a hunk of **** which it is, so I know it would be a cold day in hell if that ever happened.
