Hey guys. Im new here and just got a new 09 maxima. So I wanna put some type of intake or exhaust in my car basically I wanna get some more hp and get a nice sound from my car. I was thinking a magna flow mid pipe or a stillen intake. But im clueless tbh lol. So if anyone has any ideas or suggestions that would be appreciated. Thanks!

 

I don't know much about the 7th gen Maxima, but I am sure if you post in the 7th gen section people will jump in and give you some good info.

why do you want more HP, it already has High Horsepower on those motor, just word of caution, since Nissan are using CVT tranny and putting on more power gonna shred up your tranny and worse case scenario is that it'll definitely void your factory warranty if any. A lot of late models are pretty sensitive to changes to the car to increase power gonna throw some kind of engine light or fault code. So go at your own risk as well do some research and informed decision.

 

Man just drive it and enjoy!!!!! It's almost got 300 hp!

If you wanted a sportier car should have gone G37

Also the CVT transmission should scare you

 

U already got about 290 HP stock. Give it a lil bump to 300 and ur solid
