misfire 5th cylinder

misfire 5th cylinder

Major direct misfire 5th cylinder. Replaced coil and plug and it ran fine for 2 days. Then the misfire came back. Checked the codes and not only was it misfiring in the 5th cylinder again read throttle position sensor code!?? What do i need to do?? 2002 se

If you used NGK plugs and an OEM coilpack then the next step would be the injector.

Advanced auto coil and bosch plug. I assume that is a bad thing?

Yep. Both bad. Ngk only and Oem only. You can get Oem off rockauto.com. Should specify on their site.

A major misfire though?
Was the check engine light flashing?
