Hello from a Nissan lover

I currently drive a 1999 Infiniti I30, but first got the Nissan bug from a mid 80's 200sx. Before I owned that car all my experience was with American cars. I was amazed at how much thought went into designing and building that car, and how through the manual was. Every system was carefully explained and the service procedures were shown in great detail. I never looked at an American car again.

My I30 has been a tank, but recently had a small accident that damaged the front end. It's only got 257K miles so I think I should repair it, but I've got a few questions.

Thanks!

Except for that spark plug by the firewall. When I got it the plug was already cross threaded so it never got replaced. The car started having symptoms of a blown head gasket, but I think that spark plug broke. It disintegrated when I tried to remove it and I could never get the thread out. If I knew then what I know now I would have pulled the engine and fixed it, but back then I thought that was beyond my ability. That inline 4 would have been so easy!
