Add another to the mix.
Hey guys, been lurking this page for a good 5 years and finally decided to register. This is my 4th maxima since I got into them.
I have a 1991 SE, 5-speed. Only things done so far are the digital dash conversion, intake modded to remove the resonators, open air box, k&n panel filter.
Plans:
I have a vg33 that I intend on dropping in soon, planning on the 3.4 build for now and then when time and funds allow I'll begin the build for turbo charging. Haven't quite decided yet if I'll use the pathfinder upper intake (hood clearance issue due to throttle body location) or the older style maxima. (similar to 300zx except tb is in the middle of the engine instead of the drivers side or front on our cars)
Likely going to be running 270 or 280 cams.
Current parts prepped are the lower intake manifold, port matched and polished. A 60mm tb with halfshaft mod. Planning on starting the head work here soon as well.
