Just wanted say hello. I picker up a new 2016 Maxima SR last week. My wife has an 05 Pathfinder so I guess this is our second Nissan. I has a Pontiac GTP and SUbaru WRX Wagon both modified. I had the WRX since 2002 so 13 years it was my baby but had to go. My WRX was making 500hp with full built PPG gear box, meth injection, Stoptech BBK and Bridgstone Praxis suspension. I had a third kid so no room for 3 car seats in the back hence I had to get a new car. I wanted the Dodge Charger Scat Pak but wasn't willing to wait. Really excited about this car. Sorry for the crappy cell phones pics but haven't had chance to get any good ones yet. I still haven't seen another SR on the road here in San Diego.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Love the car but not super happy I have a new car with less then 500 miles and now find out it has fuel tank recall.

 

Nissan will fix it. I think this solidifies its NHTSA 5 star rating. I'm proud of buying a car with highest safety standard, looking like what 2016 Maxima is. Lol. Check out other topics in 8th gen Maximas. I'm picking my Blue SL tomorrow.

 

I'm out here in SD too. I've seen a dark blue, a white one and I believe I saw yours one time during lunch hours. I remember because I had lunch with my gf and I was telling her I haven't seen one 2016 Maxima and right after I left the restaurant I saw a maxima with your color and it still had the dealership plates. Anyways, nice color!
