She's ready to roll now!
Hello fellow members of Maxima.org. Today I bring you my story. I bought her from a car dealership. She fried the Idle portion of the ecu on the test drive thus making it very cheap. I bought it for $500. Today is the day that my Maxima lives! To make it worthy I changed. . .
- Front and rear motor mounts
-Idle control motor and ECU idle control circuit chip
-Throttle body boot
-Both lower control arms
-Both axle seals
-The battery and negative terminal
-Transmission shift solenoids, gasket & filter
-Throttle body gasket
-Fixed the Variable intake-air system
-Mass air flow sensor
-Cam sensor o-ring
-Air filter
-Oil change
-Nissan only transmission fluid.
I have about $1200 in the Maxima altogether. A/c works, like new tires. Runs like a champ now! Who's the king baby?

I think they were asking $800. They knew it had problems. They were about to take it to auction so I made them a deal they couldn't refuse. It was throwing ONLY 2 codes. An IAC code and the transmission torque converter code. Both ended up being quite extensive as you can see from the list of parts I replaced.
