2005 nissan maxima

I think someone put something into my gas tank to clog it up so i cant drive my car. How do i find out whats in there if there is something down there blocking the fuel to the fuel line.

I have never done this on a modern vehicle, but what I did on my 1959 Chevy was to drop the gas tank and use an air hose to push air through the fuel lines to make sure that they were not blocked.
