1997 Maxima (A32) - Restoration in 2024

Hi all,
Long time lurker fist time poster.
I'm the UK. I've acquired a 1997 Maxima 30G model, imported from Australia in 2014. Guys and girls in the US would know this model as the Infiniti I30.
Overall the car is in excellent condition, but have been spending £££ on parts to get it back up to par. With a mix of professional and DIY labour.

Thanks to the forum I've, it been a great source of info for my research.
If you are looking for where to get parts in 2024?
Parts successfully sourced from:
PartsSouq
Yoshiparts - great interface
Amayama
Autodoc
eBay
Buyautoparts

Will post a full breakdown on the repairs and my findings in my next post. This is my second Maxima, had one previously as student in the early noughties.

Also is anyone needs a copy of the FSM I have a digital copy.

Most recent install was the Work Sporbo Fevore L 18" wheels which really lift the look of the car. They have Michelin. Pilot Sport 4s on, which as you might expect are fantastic for this car and transform the ride and handing.

Two inquiries …

1) Where, in the U.K., are you precisely and,

2) What is, or when was, the “noughties”?

Hi Turbobink,

1) I'm based in Leicestershire - I really don't think there are many Maxima over here in the UK.

2) the "noughties" - we say that over here to refer to the years 2000 -> 2010
