1990 SE...how much longer will it last?

Well I was talking to my uncle today, and was surprised to find out that he owned a Maxima as well. It is a 90 SE 5-speed. He told me that it has, get this 310,000 miles on it. The only thing more amazing than that is that it has the ORIGINAL CLUTCH! 310,000 miles on the OEM clutch. Hard to believe, he must be one hell of a driver.

Your Uncle is pulling your leg. If you believe that, then I have some solar powered flashlights I would like to sell you.

depends on how it is running. If its good it could go on for a good while, if its running poorly its days are prolly numbered. 310k on original clutch

I'm sure I need to get a new clutch soon, but these numbers are giving me hope that my max is gonna last forever if I treat it right.

380,000 miles??? That must be some kind of a record. I guess that means I've only reached the half life of my 196,000 mile GXE.

impossible

maximas are good cars, but have weak transmissions. 310,00o miles i could happen it he was driving about 45 miles an hour everytime he drove the car. again impoosible. maximas are too fast a car. in that car he must have changed the transmission/radiator,thermostat, and other parts by now. don't get me wrong once you change them the car runs like new.
