supposedly, Courtesy's unit will now fit the 99.5+ w/o modifying the bracket on the driver side.

There's a small thread in the for sale section on the JWT vs Stillen vs CAI intake. If you're in California, it's probably safer to purchase the Stillen intake since it's CARB certified. If you're out of Cali, then go with the JWT intake. Less expensive, same performance.

Just installed my JWT pop charger.
Pioneer said it looks just like his stillen Hi flow.
I like the performance.
When the car hits 3k rpm you can hear it
i felt a little kick in boost too

Back on the subject in the topic.
I think the courtesy FSTB works just as good.
Stillen one just looks better.
I have a courtesy one but for now i will stick to it, because it does the job.
When i have extra cash laying around I will get a stillen one though. Just for looks

Braces, bars and intakes . . .

Seems like we're covering a lot of ground here.

I have the Courtesy FSTB and yes, it did require a little cutting and grinding to get the driver's side end bracket to fit properly. But it works great and as you pointed out MrBurner, it's WAY less expensive than the Stillen. My recommendation? Stillen RSB and Courtesy FSTB in that order.

Phuong and I had a talk about intakes yesterday. I purchased the Stillen Intake from Phuong for just one reason. I'm in California and I wanted the C.A.R.B. certification. Otherwise I would have jumped on the JWT Popcharger without hesitation.

A lot of people like the Place Racing CAI. It's not C.A.R.B. certified and it requires that you cut a hole in the fendor. But those who have it swear by it.

You know what.... I am going to get a courtesy FSTB, only if it doesnt void the suspension warrenty. What does it do, reduce body roll and increase ridgity right

y2kse...they just came out w/ a FSTB about a week ago for the 2000+ models which requires no cutting (according to them)...is this the one you have or did you order it awhile ago?
