But, to answer your question: AOL sucks.

 

I'm on AOL right now. Any org members feel free to IM me anytime. Just make sure your screen name isn't some spam sounding Julie19fwithpics. I dont respond to those....well, most of the time...

 

I hate AOL. Slow as all heck ! I have a cable modem, and I still have Instant messenger. My name is kloogy1 . I wlecome your chats, but dont spam me !

someone can host a room when everyone is on AIM and then we can just chat there and forget aol.

I know that aol sux, in reality i really use mirc for IRC but not to many ppl do but maybe later tonight we can get some thing jumpin.

 

the OT forum is available to donating members. Why not just use that for off topic chats, etc. and support the .org at the same time?

It would be better if they just added a java based IRC client and dump people on a maxima channel in IRC. That way everyone could hit it versus AOLHELL.

I'm sorry, but AOL is the dark ages when it comes to online access and resources.

 

hopefully you guys can all be online at one time and then someone can host a AIM room to chat. btw... I'm SupeRLario on AIM.
