This is something weird or something I don't know about. When I press the accelerator in a normal way my car will start to go and then out of the blue it will jump a little and go faster. It feels like its shifting but all of this happens before 2nd gear while still in 1st. It just feel like all the sudden something kicked in and my car starts going faster. I'm certain its not shifting because I keep a eye on the RPMs. Obviously I have an Auto but I'm not sure what this is. Can someone enlighten me?

 

probably clogged somewhere, clean your throttle body and replace the fuel filter to start (good maintenence anyway).

 

The weird thing is that if I give it very little gas it won't do it! I have a 3k mile old fuel filter from AutoZone made by ACME if you know what I mean. However they tell it does not matter what kind of fuel filter you have. I'll attempt cleaning the throttle body.
