BOSE din....4th gen to 3rd gen

Anybody running a 4th gen bose head unit in their car? I just wanted to know if the amps and speakers are compatible. And if the there a such thing as a single to double din adapter.

Thanks

I've been wondering the same thing, I know that our opening is already a Double din because the Cup Holders/Storage bin are part of the headunit. Anyone done this before?

You just unscrew the cup holder and bolt the brackets to the radio. It is as simple as that. I put a Kenwood dd in my gxe.

I have read where some people have used the 4th gen radio with the 3rd gen and you have to change the wiring some...sorry I dont know what wires have to be changed.

Yeah, My question was about the wiring though, not just whether it would fit in the dash.
