Remove the lower seat cushion first. This is done by grabbing the front of the seat, about 1 ft in from the door, and pulling up...give it a GOOD pull for it may be snug. After that, remove the back seat by lowering the arm rest and the two screws located behind the plastic caps. Also, remove the screws from the lower corners...each side by the seat belt bolts. The seat should come out with one good vertical pull.

depending on how good you are, you might need to remove the rear shelf. pull on the 3rd brakelight, detach harness, and slide the shelf out.

If you don't wanna bother with the lower butt cushion, you can do like what I did with Lordrandall and push the corners of the lower seat to access the bolts holding the rear back cushion. We used a buncha force to pull the butt cushion up but wouldn't budge. In Altimas and Sentras, there's 2 bolts holding it...but not so with 3rd gen maximas.

I got the bottom seat out when I was doing some wiring stuff Jae, it makes it much easier to get the back part off.

I just used a BA screwdriver.
