throaty rattle noise
throaty rattle noise
today i was driving up a steady hill and i started to hear this rattle noise. it doesnt have anything to do with the exhaust manifolds/studs (replaced them, doesnt sound like that), and its not vtc's (i got a 90 se). i dont know, when the car has been running a while and is warm, this sound comes. it only happens when accelerating, the higher the rpm the more the rattle. i tapped the gas pedal a couple times to see if i could hear the noise, and i could hear it. yeah im sorta stumped. the rattle isnt not all that subtle either, its pretty evident.

heres a better description, it sounds like that noise when you have a stick and you let out the clutch too fast and you almost stall, but dont, that clacking noise when the rpm drops really low, only my rpm isnt dropping, its just making the sound. i dont know how else to describe it.
