Sidemarker rewire: have hazards, no turn signals

I followed the 5thgenmaximas.com rewire instructions to the T!
I now have hazards that blink, but when i use my turn signal, nothing happens.

I made sure I used the Green wire from the turn signal, and connected it to the Black (ground) of the sidemarker.

Could this be a fuse? Or did I rewire incorrectly?

Did you CUT OFF the black wire on the sidemarker? or did you just tap the green wire from the turn signal into the black? If so that is your problem mate.

Nope - Cut the Black (ground) wire in half, used the half attached to the sidemarker to attach to the Green signal wire (via a NEW wire).

The other half of the Black (ground) wire that attaches to the car, is e-taped up doing nothing.

Then you burned out the turn signal fuse. Might have done during the crimping.

Put your key in the ignition and then test them.
