Got my valve cover powder coated

Got sick of re-painting it all the time and not turning out very well half of the time. Found a local shop that specializes in motorcycle and car parts. Blasted it and coated it in metallic silver for $70. Got it done in 2 days for me. It was still warm when I picked it up tonight. I'll get a pix soon. Looks like the mesh grill is the next project, followed by a tranny cooler (finally) and then hopefully a bunch of Autometer Phantom gages before Nopi time.

You could probably ship it right to them. They are new to the area(2years), kinda small outfit (only 2 or 3 people) and they're looking for work. I'm sure they'd work with you since you're not around here. I've already e-mailed their price list to the locals around here. I'll send it to you. Then you'll have their address and phone. Nice guys.

The drivetrain, interior and features are the main reasons why. It's not the nicest exterior in the world. I like the exterior of the new Alti better actually, but the interior is the deal breaker there. I hate it. Especially the gauges. The exterior of the 4th gen's (at least in stock form) never did anything for me. I never had a desire for a fourth gen. That's why I kept the 3rd gen. When I saw the new 5th gen I thought that at least the Nissan designers finally looked liked they built something that they believed in and went for it. Like it or not.
