Finally got my Max

After lurking (and posting a few threads) for several months on the Org, I took possession of my 6-sp 2k3 Wednesday. First mod tomorrow (Saturday) morning : Michelin Pilot A/S. Next week : window tint and aftermarket alarm. Now I truly feel like a member

congrats! WHat are you going to do with your brand-new stock tires? Might as well replace your rims too!

Thanks! Sold the tires to someone in town. As for the rims, I love them, since they have the same "smoked-chrome" look like the AE. I'm glad I was patient enough to wait for the 2k3 model.

Congrats on the new ride! But I disagree about the wheels. The AE had a much more noticeable tint to it, than the 02 TE. I looked at 02's and 03's side by side, both in the shade and under the sun, and could barely see the difference.

Congrats and YES...please be sure to post pics, after you get the tires. I want those same tires, so I'd like to see what they look like on a stock set-up. Also please post some updates on they tires handle.....especially if you every hit any snow! Thanks!

Congratualtions. You'll soon find yourself wanting to drive without having any particular place to go!

Pics will come, but I don't know what to expect from a scanned photo on 100 ASA film. But the Pilots won't see any snow : we need winter tires here , and I put them on day!

If your pilot sports are not going to see winter, why not get the regular pilot sports instead of the A/S, seeing as they are a better tire.
