I currently have 16" 2001 GXE dealer take offs with Dunlop Sport w-10 tires.
Nice ride and these rims look great on a black car.

A friend of mine has been sitting on some older 17 x 7.5" Konig Caffeine's with Nitto 450 tires. The tires have around 6000 miles on them.

Two questions:

What are the Konig/Nitto's worth?

Should I even bother to switch as I would like to go up to 17" wheels?

I think I might be able to get a decent price but I did want to see what they might be worth.

I did check some websites and swa the tires for around $100 a throw and the rims for $245 but I only checked like two sites.

Konig Caffenes used are maybe worth $100 each (used).....and if the tires were $100 new. I personally would pay more than $600

 

Anybody know how old the Cafffeines are?

Do they still make them new or are they being discontinued?

 

i believe theyre discontinued, arent they from a few seasons back?
i remember seeing them in car magazines about 4 years ago.

I got my Konig Tantrum 18's and Nitto 555R tires from a member here at the .org for $800 + shipping. Assuming both are in near-new condition, you should be able to pick up at least $600 for em.
