Has anyone changed this?
Anyone know approx. how much?
Is this something the dealer SHOULD do, or can a good tranny shop do it?

ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED!!!

Thanks,

why not?
Even if the dealer won't do it, does anyone know how much something like this might cost?

yes, tranny shops can do that. I got it changed on my legend. Ran me about 400 to 500. Dealer's prices are ridiculous, it will probably run u double the price of a tranny shop's TC.

two questions:
1) How come you have an extra torque convertor hanging around.
2) What did you convert to get one? did you swap out stock or swap to 5sp?

thanks.

OK -- so, I called a tranny shop and they quoted me $405 with a one-
year warranty!!! at that price, I could get my tranny re-built 4
times before I get to the dealer price!!!

PLUS, the warranty is as good as the dealer!!!!

WOO HOO!
