final attempt at blue gauges

well this is my final attemp at making the gauges blue in my car, so far the blue LEDs have not been bright enough or they keep going out. So i decided to make my own LED's and wire them up to light up the gauges. I think it came out really well, i used the same LED's as the rest of the interior so it all matched pretty well. But i do need to do a bit of adjusting to make it light u pmore evenly. but here are the pics of it

pics here

and yes i know the one on the light is out on my ACC, im just waitng to put in my AMB button to get it fixed.

hey man... was your dimmer turned all the way up... cause when i did my lights it was much brighter behind the instrument pannel. but i ended up taking them out b/c i didn't like having just one color... i might have to invest in some reverse indiglos. but i do like your bezel rings... where did you get yours?? $$??

Sorry this is OT, but thank god that car in 95sickGLE's sig isn't his (too funny that you put "yes I think it's ugly too"). There is no way I could not respond and comment on how UNBELIEVABLY nasty that car looks...and I don't want to bust on anyone here's ride. Those rims are....are...........are...............indescribab ly hideous. I can't even look at the picture too long, it burns my retinas.

yeah there are a few hot spots and i might readjust the led's to get rid of them.

but went out to the car tonight for a drive when it was at night and it looks great and i love the mod now, when i had the 194(molded) LED's i couldent see the needles, but with this set up they light up a light purple wich look pretty cool, but i would love the get a red needle kit.

as for the rims, i saw a set on car that drove by my car the same time i was putting in my air horns and i was like "what in the world is that" the things looked like a disco ball at a club, its was crazy.

Dude, can you post a detailed write up on how to do the ignition ring and the ACC. I've done the window switches but never got around to doing the ACC buttons or key ring. DO you know if there is a write up somewhere?
