I have a 2002 that I want lowered but not too much since I live in upstate NY. I want quality so I never have to change them again but I also don't want to spend over $800. I want the whole set up, struts, springs, top hats etc. What do you guys recommend? Thanks

I found tokico blue struts listed 99-03, 99 is the same part as 03?

I lowered my 97 with tokico blue and she had a beautiful ride but I only had her for a few years so did not see how long they last. Anyone have long term experience with lowered blues?

I live in PA...terrible roads. I have H & R springs and Tokico Illuminas (adjustable). Not the lowest drop, but ride is still decent.

Generally, lower equates to a rougher ride and less body roll, but be forewarned that some springs with similar drops ride better than others due to superior engineering. A prime example is H&R vs. Maxspeed - here are two springs with a similar drop, but most have found H&Rs offer superior ride and handling. Why? You're paying for H&R's research and expertise. Multiple owners who have switched from Maxspeed to H&R have attested to the fact that the H&Rs better ride and superior control make them a notable improvement over the cheaper Maxspeed springs. Enough of an improvement to justify H&R's much higher cost? Your call.

+1 on the above set-up. Just did this 3 weeks ago and I am enjoying it.
Inch and a half drop in the front, inch in the rear. Gets rid of the "nose in the air" factory stance, tightens up those fender gaps and still gives a nice ride.

BTW - don't forget the associated hardware. My upper spring seats up front were rotten.

bumpy ride

I just put on some k sport springs, not top of the line I know, but wanted to get rid of the giant gap upfront while living on a budget, every bump I hit is harsh, the drop said 2" front seems lower and back didnt seem to drop much, any advice on struts that would actually improve the ride quality? I put in some gabriel oems like 4 months ago and was gonna just let them ride till there no good but I drive in Boston everyday and roads suck

I ran Tokico Blues and Eibach springs on my 03 since new. Not the lowest drop and ride was not that bad.
