i just installed the 97 console on my 95 max, it fits well, no problems with that except there is only 2 places to secure it (in the back near the back seats vs 95 which has back seats and front where cigarette lighter is...

it fits fine but when i snapped the boot and shifter console back on, the coin holder thing won't pop out unless i hold the shifter console down or if i snap it out a little from the back...which doesn't look bad but u see a little gap which doesn't get in the way of driving but u know its there which sucks....i'll get pics later but is this supposed to happen?

 

there shouldnt be any problems the part number is the same... I swapped my piece out on the 97 I just pushed it down a little bit more and it fit perfeclt and didnt block the ashtray

 

hmm....i'll see waht i can do then...
