Snapped Strut Tower Bolt

My roomate in his infinite wisdom snapped a strut tower bolt when he was putting on my FSTB. I wish I'd have done it myself.

Is it safe to drive the car to the shop? Will it collapse on me?

If you take it easy you will be okay. The strut mount needs to be replaced.

I called for quotes

I called around and got anywhere from $21.95 to $85 for the bracket.

How much should I be paying?

I paid $19 for mine at a local dealer (for a '95). Another dealer across town wanted $29. Go figure.
