RE4F04V (Auto VLSD) Swap

I've found a VLSD auto from an I30t locally that I'm really considering swapping into my 1995 GLE. Will I need the TCM or any other electronics from the donor vehicle? Does this tranny have any maintenance requirements beyond those of the RE4F04A (non-VLSD auto)?

No TCM difference its all mechanical. Same for maint no diff. However I understand that one of the shafts are different so check that out.

From what I have heard...

Even though the shafts are listed as different, they are in fact the same.

Also, what price do they want for the trans?

Don in Texas was nice enough to answer some of my questions, he said the driver's side CV axle is different, but pretty much everything else is the same.

I've been quoted prices from $450 to $850 in my search.
