Tint for moonroof ?

Are there any risks associated with tinting the moonroof? I'd like to throw some dark stuff (10% or less) up there but don't want to cause any problems. Thanks in advance!

I have heard that moisture can get up in the roof or something like that and ruin it, but I do not really think that happens often at all.

quite a few tint shops actually don't reccomend and don't want to tint the moonroof although it is not against the law or anything.. they just say it won't hold up well.. however, i've seen it done many times and there is no problems with it. I'm planning on doing mine, probably will try it myself like AndyXXL

I've always been told that if the sunroof doesn't come from the factory pre-tinted, not to tint it because it won't hold up very well. Plus, why do you need to tint the sunroof? Just drive with the shade closed. IMO there's no need to waste $50 on that.

i've seen it done before, but it defeats the purpose of having a sunroof

I just got mine done ($30)..it's great for the summer when you want it open, but don't want to burn your head or have that nasty glare..I can see out of it just as I did before even at night.
