If i havent received a recall notice from Nissan re: the transverse link.....does this mean my 2K2 SE isnt affected? I received the recall notice Re: the pedal stopper but havent received any others? BTW i'm not shaking in my shoes just yet about the 2K3 Honda Accords........lets see a few of them on the street first.

 

If your car was made after January 2002, it's not affected by the recall.

 

My car was purchased in Nov 01 so does this mean mine is included in the recall for sure? Even with no recall notice?

 

AFAIK, the recall affects around 90,000 cars made between June 2001 and January 2002 so your car may be affected. Check with Nissan at 1-800-647-7261.

If you goto nissandriven.com there is a section for recalls and you can match your vin number up to the different recalls to see if it affects your car...

 

I waited several weeks to get the notice but never did. I then called up Nissan N/A and my local dealership. Both our Maxima's were affected by it.

Don't wait to get a notice, might as well call them up to check.
