Your right about that, many people just assume the all the new batteries come in the new cars are that way. Decieving since it has those "*****" for the water tubes.

funny how my battery just die today... went to sears and got a new one... will check tomorrow to see if I was running dry on distill water on my old batter...

 

then howcome the fuuck nozzeles at jiffy lube said its mx free and thats why they didnt put water in....

seriously... so easy to spark with a watch or a ring.. and boom.. not pretty.. I did wear safety glasses.. and took off watch and rings.
I know, I know.. but then again, I've known people who've had batteries blow up on them. (usually with jumper cables tho). Nasty stuff.. just follow the directions. I got a water dropper thing for .99 at Napa.

 

Heard a story about a guy wearing a ring, working near the battery. Somehow ring got between + & - and the ring fused to whatever it had touched. Guy lost his finger, it burned off.
