Control Arm Bushings...

Anyone here replace their control arm bushings? How difficult are they to replace? I looked in my Haynes manual, and it basically says, if they're worn, replace the entire control arm as an assembly. There's got to be a way to change just the bushings. Do I need to take them to a shop to have them pressed in, or what?

Any advice is welcome.

i did the one on the passenger side and I had to use a press to get the old one out and put the new bushing in. It is not too hard to do but it will require taking the a arm to a shop and having them do the press for you.

OK, I'll need to call around, and get a quote on that...I will likely be replacing my front wheel bearings soon, also...

Thanks for the info...

Front wheel bearings shuldnt be hard at all. If youve done brake work on your car then you can change the wheel bearings.
