Mille Miglia Evo 5's Don't Fit 2K2 Maxima????

I was told today from this guy Dave at Speedworld.com that the "bright satin" finish Evo 5's will NOT fit the 2002 Maxima and that ONLY the "Silver" finish one's would. Is there any truth to this? Please respond if you know for sure that this is true or untrue. Thanks.

Sorry, i'm talking about the 19 x 8.5. I know that the "silver" finsh ones WILL fit because Kloogy has them and i was also told by many sources that they will fir. I was told however that the "Bright Satin" finish 19 x 8.5 would NOT fit. Is this tru because i would like to buy the "Bright Satin" finish ones. Thanks

We need to know the offset of the wheel and bolt pattern before giving you an answer. Maybe they never made the correct offset/bolt pattern for that size?

i hear what you are saying about the whole offset thing but my point is that if anyone has them on their 2002 maxima or knows anybody with them on thier 2002 maxima then they would fit my 2002 maxima. get it? I'm not to sure on the offset though. thanks.

Instead of going by that logic, why don't you call and ask about the information I posted?

Yes, the "bright satin" ones are a BMW exclusive wheel and thus will not fit onto our cars.

What is the acceptable offset range so that wheels will fit?

That depends on the width of the tire/wheel to some extent. I have 18x8 with a 35mm offset and 245/40/18 rubber. I don't think you'd want to go any lower than 35mm. They're pretty flush with the fenders.

I was looking at 18X8 with a 30MM offset, will these stick out?

i don't think the rims aren't fitting just because rims have different finish on them. maybe the ones with 'bright satin' finish on them has different off-set or bolt-on patterns..
