vacuum tube on tranny?

After installing the engine and hooking everything up , the tranny seems to have a vacuum tube (metal fitting) ontop right behind the starter its a 1992 (dohc) . as far as i can tell theres nothing that attachs to it. if you have your airfilter box on it might be hard to tell. but if someone could take a look at theres i'd appreciate it =D . this car has been salvaged i'm just trying to piece it back together........

Re: vacuum tube on tranny?

Thats just a tube to vent the fumes in the tranny..it's not supposed to connect to anything, just let it hang somewhere good.
