19's on stock suspension or not

will it look stupid to have 19's on stock suspension? i'm concerned w/ rubbing. i want to get 245/35/19's on 19 x 8.5 rims w/ 35 offset. don't know if using H&R springs will make them rub or not.

also, for people w/ H&R springs...how's the ride quality from stock? in terms of smoothness, stiffness, etc. thanks.

That would look terrible. H&Rs shouldn't rub, although your wheel is very wide. talk to cobymoby and kloogy.

If you are gonna do something, might as well do it right...put some springs on as well. You don't want a monster truck.

i'm still very new, i've had my 02 SE for only 2 weeks. looking at the car again, looks as i really need to drop the front of the car. has anyone put H&R springs ONLY on the front? will that work w/ 19x8.5 +35offset and 245/35/19's? any pics? still debating.

ok since u wanna get techincal. My 18x8s have a 39 or more offset and u can lower it pretty much as low as u like. But with a 19x8.5 it will basically already be .25" wider than my setup for either side and with a 35 offset it will mean that the wheels will stick out more than mine to the outer fenders. In other words, assuming ur wheels/tires fit, it will look much better/meaner than my set-up. My was recommended from tire-rack, they always are on the safer side. Now, if u lower that thing, it might create a rubbing problem but then again it might not, because ur set-up will be .25" plus 39-35=4mm, which equals a total of .35"?? closer to the fenders. It will look very good, because if u are in SoCal u can come to see my car and i really wish my wheels come out a tenny tiny bit more. But i cant complain. Just ask the guys who install the wheels or springs to tell u if they rub or not. But since i dont care much about lowering, the 245/35/19s will look nice even with stock suspension, but it wont have a stuffed or slammed look most think its good.

Go with the H&R springs and your 245/35/19's and you will have no rubbing.
