Do all 4 windows roll down when the unlock button is pressed?

I just bought a 98 GXE but only the front windows roll down when the unlocked button on the remote is pressed. Is it suppose to be all 4 windows or just the front windows? Thanks.

Ya, just the two front.

Always thought it would be cool if they could go back up when you press the lock button.

Maybe your remote is different than mine but my PANIC button isn't my Lock button.

it must be, cause i can hold down the big gray button on the top and set off my alarm. i'm gonna go try it now, and if i'm wrong i will change my post and get some coffee and pour in my lap.

Does the remote unlock all the four doors? If so how do you do it. Mine just unlocks the drivers side door.

Press the unlock once = unlock driver's door only
press it again soon (within 5 seconds?) = unlock all 4 doors

my car is possessed, sometimes i will press unlock 2 times, and the drivers door unlocks, then the rest of them unlock, and my driver door relocks itself, i get p*ssed off at it.

EXACTLY...wouldn't that be MORE helpful? To be able to put the windows up without unlocking it, getting in, and turning the ignition (when you left them down upon turning the car off) would be more handy. Just my opinion.

when i first figured out i could put my windows down w/o the remote i was like "yea!!! this is sooo phat!" so i would go show everyone... theni would have to run to my car and put them back up. then i figured out that my trunk opened remotely... and the above happened all over again. yep. where was i going with this story? i don't know... well anyways it is posiable to have all four of your windows to go down, but it requires an aftermarket alarm..and i think they can go back up as well. do a search on it, there was a discussion about this not too long ago.
