need ifno with little tube on CAI

I'm going to post the question here since nobody can help in the 4th gen forum. Don't worry mods, I deleted that other thread.

I got a question about the little tube on CAI...
The mid piece of the CAI has two big hose connections. There is also a connection for a small tube/hose, not sure what it's called. On the SC mid piece, there's no connection for this small tube/hose. So what do I do with it? Do I take the hose off completely and plug up the hole where the hose come from? TIA.

Doesn't that tube connect to the engine itself? I haven't looked that part over in the instructions but judging from what I've seen, I was under the impression that most people had a breather filter on that part.

It goes into this gold looking connection. It sort of look like a vacuum line.

I think the breather filter you're talking about goes onto the crankcase.

No, not that one Nam. See the post above yours, I already said it's not that one.

There's another big tube on the other side. Right by it is a much smaller tube. That's the one I'm talking about.

I see nobody know what I'm talking about. Doh!

That tiny tube you're talking about is the EGR Vaccuum line. You can connect it, or leave it dangling, your choice. It won't set any Check engine lights off. I haven't really noticed any vaccuum pull from it either.

Connect it? Connect it to where? There's no where to connect the tube. I think the instruction said to bend it and zip tie it. I'll check to make sure.

Bump.

Again, hook it up/connect it to where?

Can I just plug it up? Remove the hose and plug up where it hose came from?

I thought you ment one of the big tubes The little one on my car is just dangling. I've only had one person look in there and be like "uh? Shouldn't this be hooked up to something?"
