Where can I get aftermarket parts for cheaper?
Does anyone know where I can get aftermarket parts for my 96? I've been looking all over the place for a new full exhaust but they all go for like $900! All I've found is a CAI for 40 (really good deal) but it's just stupid how much it costs for some metal pipes. lol

Depends on the sound you want. Personally I liked magnaflow. pace setter probably has a high flow cat, that means loud. I would just get a resonator if you like the sound and its just too loud. Put it between cat and muffler. My max has a terrible setup.. It's 3 inch all the way from headers, it does have a warpspeed tho. I think. May be generic. no cat, and I think a DC can muffler? Oh, and instead of cat it has a cherry bomb...long red hot rod 'muffler' yeah, its stupid loud and doesn't know if it wants to sound like a camaro or a 350z. I didn't do it, and I haven't redone it yet. Just got it running again.

The Pace setter I have is a cat-back system I purchased off of Amazon (loved the free shipping to Hawaii).
It already has a resonator between the catalytic and the muffler. This system utilizes 2 1/4" tubing. The exhaust sounds good, but just too loud for this 40 year old!

if u need to replace the entire exhaust system (excluding headers) then be prepared to spend money.
Check out rockauto.com, If you want OEM, direct bolt up (easiest install) then, yea i would say over 900 bucks plus labor.
If you want cheapest route, then u have to build your own exhaust. You will still need a ypipe (suggest warpspeed for ease of installation), a cat (magnaflow hi flow is the cheapest), a resonator (ebay, same length of OEM), and a muffler (ebay fart can with removable silencer). Let a shop install. You might be able to do this for 800 bucks but probably more.
EDIT:
I had a dynomax super turbo street muffler, and it was high flow no noise. The sport version has a little noise, barely audible. These are high flow so exit gas velocity on the low rpm end will be lower. U make up for it on the high end rpm tho if u like to go fast.
Most other name brand muffler will be hella loud lol from what i have read.

Maybe you can buy that Pace Settter cat-back exhaust system off of Amazon for $200. Just change the muffler out (maybe no need if you like loud exhaust).
