see my post on your thread. Check on Z31.com for 84-89 300ZX timing belt replacement procedures in the archive. Maximas and 300ZX cars share the same engine, hence the same problems with timing belts. This can be a terminal condition if not fixed now. You will need new heads at minimum, if you continue to operate this motor without this timing belt replacement.
